Passionately and Gleefully OBSESSED with Live Event Painting & Illustration!

Painting Schreiner’s Iris Gardens during their “Golden Hour Event”

? Did you know this was a thing?!!!

I knew.
But I didn't really know.
And now that I know - OBSESSION Level 1000%.

In the following essay, I will attempt to use mere words to describe how Live Event Painting & Illustration fills me up to my eyeballs with absolute GLEEE!

Things I am skilled at in order of importance as it pertains to Live Event Painting & Illustration:

  1. Eating snacks on the sly.
(Sorry, what was that? I couldn't hear you. My mouth was full of popcorn)

  2. Chatting with anyone, at any time, in any place, about anything, for as long as necessary. Yes, even your racist uncle Earl.

  3. Painting, drawing, & sketching - in front of people even!

  4. Talking to people about painting.

  5. Talking while painting.

  6. Cracking jokes, wise remarks, and pithy comments as needed.

-I have 100% been invited to parties and dinners and included in bridal parties specifically to keep the conversation flowing, the jokes rolling, and any social awkwardness at bay.

-As long-time readers, I know you are all shocked by this.

  7. I am an entertainer, storyteller, and an influencer of good humor, fun times, silly walks, and gut-busting-pant-wetting-laughter.

  8. One of my superpowers is making everything fun!
I promise you that we could be cleaning a North Dakota gas station bathroom on a sweltering hot summer day after the Sturgis Rally, and I'd find a way to make you laugh.

Live Event Painting & Illustration is all the above.

It is infusing the day with delight, and entertainment while creating.
It's about chatting, making people smile, and being a safe, neutral, non-aunt-Dorothy zone. It’s keeping Uncle Earl distracted long enough for everyone else to get a slice of cake.

Are you comprehending the sheer gravity of this situation??!!

I have found the thing, the center of my Venn Diagram, the sweet spot - MY SPOT!

The sweet spot!

There is just one teeny weenie, itty bitty, wee little baby problem.

I don't have a Live Event Painting & Illustration portfolio.

I know I can do this, you know I can do this, but rando strangers on the internet that google "unique event entertainment ideas" and find me are going to want to see some type of proof.
The proof, as we know, is in the Chocolate Pot'd Creme.

That, my dear lovely (did you just get your hair done?) reader, is where you come in!

I need events to attend, guests, and gazebos to illustrate;
I need to dive into the deep end of this Venn Diagram and start building my portfolio by gathering photos, experience, and elated customer testimonials.

SO!
I am running a Portfolio Building Special!
AND let me be clear - IT’S A STUNNINGLY GOOD DEAL!

Do you have an event coming up this summer that could use a delightful dose of entertainment and fun?

And by event, I mean anything with more than 8 guests.

A garden party, a birthday party, a dinner party, a retirement party, an anniversary, a family reunion, a company picnic, a gala, a fate, a baby shower, a bridal shower, a bar mitzvah, a quinceañera, a proposal, a **wedding.
I’m open to almost anything!

With Live Illustration, your day has genuinely special mementos of the occasion.
Framable, fine art memories that people will hold onto for years to come. Your day won't disappear into the social media scroll; it will be captured in real-time with real, tangible analog materials that your guests can take home with them!

In a world where we are bombarded with "content" and who even knows what is generated by AI, to have a lively, funny human at your event creating art in real time - It's just so cool!

The Portfolio Building Special:
One Event per customer for FREE, plus expenses.

Terms & Conditions:
The event must be booked by June 30, 2025, and must take place between June 20, 2025, and August 10, 2025.

First come, first served.
I will cut off bookings as soon as my calendar is full, which will be 3 to 5 events, depending on the location.

I am willing to travel by car, boat, train, or plane.
Expenses include snacks, travel, lodging (if needed, and no I won’t sleep on Aunt Edna’s couch), minimal art supplies (such as paper, protective sleeves, and any pre-printing we decide on), and $40 per day for Roxy care.

The going rate for Live Event Painting is roughly $2,000 per day, plus expenses.

What I’m offering could benefit us both greatly - so let's get creative, step outside the box, and find some events for me to illustrate!

ARE YOU EXCITED?
I’M SO EXCITED!!
