As a working artist you are a creator & a business owner.

Which includes, acting as a CEO, Artistic Director, Web Site Administrator, Communications & Social Media Expert, Packaging & Shipping Manager, and Administrative Magician.

I wanted to create this page because the resources listed have truly helped me. I feel like in the beginning I spent a lot of time wading through the dredges of information and content, only to find a lot of fluff.

The list below is a powerhouse of women and their ideas that have helped me to move my business forward. The below is NOT paid endorsements, just people who have provided substantial and real value.

Personal Growth

Liora Sponko. Liora is and Empowerment Coach, in my work with her I learned to identify and disable the fears that were standing in my way and holding me back.

The Makers Yearbook

I do not use this workbook for the calendar, because I use the method taught in the class listed above, but the worksheets and content planning in this workbook are very valuable. The creator Nicola Taylor also shares lot of valuable information on Instagram.

Podcasts

Hashtag Authentic by Sara Tasker. I have listened to the podcast for a while now, and I found it valuable enough that I paid for Sara’s six week Instagram retreat. It was expensive, but worth it! I learned so much that I was then able to leverage to other platforms and areas of my business.

BLOGS & NEWSLETTERS

Rachel Emma Waring. I just recently found Rachel one Instagram and attended one of her 20 minute Pinterest teaser courses. Pinterest has always confused me, and I learned something right out of the gate. I’ve spent a lot of time scrolling her blog and website since then and have learned even more. She knows a lot about content creation, and repurposing it.
