OVERJOYED!

Your guests don’t want chicken or fish; they want human connection.
Human connection is the source of joy, delight, belonging, and feeling seen, understood, and loved.
We find connection in all kinds of ways, through stories, shared experiences, and long, meandering conversations that span phone calls, voice memos, text chains, and an endless wall of Instagram Reels.
Connection finds us lending tampons in dingy bathrooms, discussing wilted lettuce at the store, waiting in line at the post office, and in a shared look across the room.
The feeling of connectedness is what keeps us glued to our phones, scrolling through social media, in search of a community. We drive through the night to arrive on time, and we fly across the country to attend weddings, funerals, bar mitzvahs, and the birth of the next-door neighbor’s cat’s kittens.
We do it all for the love of our family, friends, and the friends that we have chosen to be our family.
