Weekend Getaway to Rockaway Beach

Rockaway Beach in the winter is pretty stunning. I spent a mostly unplugged weekend away with a good friend. We talked, laughed, ate food, visited the local creameries, ate cheese and ice cream, and took several beach walks. The clouds were dramatic and doing things that only winter clouds do. Please enjoy the show!

I took this with a sepia filter. The coloring of the day wasn’t too far off from being monotone like this. I thought painting this using only one color might be fun.

This sunset was a “pull the car over” moment. But of course, my camera doesn’t do it justice at all. The water was so green!
