An Illustration Project

A good friend of mine woke up one morning and decided to write a book as one does.

The main character is a foul-mouthed, tattooed mermaid named H. H has many delightful underwater adventures exploring shipwrecks with her animal friends. The exciting part for me is my friend turned author asked me to illustrate the chapter pages. I’ve been working on them for months now, it has been a fun and fabulous challenge.

This is my favorite illustration of the 18 illustration series because it says so much about the tone of the book!
